Ok, all you NOLA locals….2 1/2 weeks till my plane touches down, and I’m creating my food itinerary….where’s the first place I hit to eat? Staying in the French Quarter, recommendations for my first dinner?

h0r-i-z0n asked: I'm from New Orleans (and live here). It's so nice to see other people who appreciate my hometown as much as i do, thanks!
myworrisomeheart asked: You've probably heard about it already, but if you haven't, make sure you check out Fleurty Girl's website. It's a New Orleans style T-shirt, accessories, etc. design company. It's all local, but you can order it from their website (just search fleurty girl).
Make sure you like them on Facebook, too!

reaction-designs-metalwork asked: I highly support becoming a transplant if you can. My girlfriend came down for Jazz Fest in 2007 as a "I'll never be this close to New Orleans ever again so I should go" and fell in love. She moved down in 2009 and then dragged me down from Kansas this year. As an artist, it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Hope your visit is great and you can make it your home soon!
grotesquery asked: I love your blog! I've always been obsessed with New Orleans, especially the beautiful French Quarter!

airandsea asked: Hello! Greetings from New Orleans! Your collection of pictures rock! I can only hope your upcoming visit consists of nothing but clear skies. I just had a couple of friends in town from Orlando. This time they stayed in a hotel downtown so they could do all of the tourist things. As crazy as it sounds, now they know more about my home town than I do. Have tons of fun and check out Molly's on...

alliwilleatyou asked: Love your blog! And, your love for New Orleans. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? I love listening to people's stories about how they fell in love with the place :)
