Pierre Maspero’s on Chartres St.
Erected in 1788, one of the oldest buildings in the French Quarter. A coffee house in the 19th century, it was a meeting place of the Lafitte brothers to plan their escapes. Andrew Jackson also met the brothers there to plan the defense of the epic Battles of New Orleans.
